I've been driving my Nissan Sentra for about 5years now. It's a functional compact sedan that provides basic transportation without any frills. The exterior design is forgettable, blending into parking lots without drawing any attention. The 2.0L engine delivers adequate power for city driving but feels strained during highway passing or hill climbs. The CVT transmission is noisy under acceleration and creates a droning sound on long drives. Interior materials are largely hard plastics that scratch easily, though everything is logically arranged. The cloth seats become uncomfortable after about an hour of driving. Fuel economy has been the main positive at around 31 mpg in mixed driving. The trunk space is surprisingly good for a compact sedan. The audio system is basic but functional. Road noise is excessive at highway speeds. AutoCarSales' financing department was straightforward with me about what to expect with an older vehicle, offering reasonable rates considering the car's age. The Sentra fulfills its basic transportation role reliably, but there's nothing enjoyable or memorable about the driving experience.
