State of health, in writing
Every EV is listed with a measured battery state of health, not a manufacturer estimate. A pack at 90% after three years is healthy; one materially below that is priced to reflect it, and we say so.
Real range, not brochure range
Expect roughly 70–80% of the original rated range in cold weather at motorway speeds. Buy for the journey you actually make most weeks, with headroom, rather than for the once-a-year trip a rapid charger can cover.
Charging before you buy
A home charger changes EV ownership more than any spec on the car. If you cannot install one, check the public network on your regular routes before committing.
